Who I am

Elements Web Design is the trading name of Jennifer Dutfield, a sole trader based in Woking, Surrey. I am the data controller for your information.

What I collect

When you build a quote, request a mock-up or contact me, I collect your quote selections and any name, email address and message you give me.

How I use it, and why I'm allowed to

1. To respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote or mock-up. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
2. To improve my service, using your quote selections in aggregate. The lawful basis is my legitimate interests.

I don't sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who I share it with

I use trusted providers to run this site. My hosting provider, database manager, cloud storage and email handler is Lovable. Lovable processes some of my data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long I keep it

Enquiries and quotes are kept for 12 months after my last contact with you, unless you become a client. In that case I keep records for 6 years for accounting purposes.

Cookies and local storage

I don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Your quote answers are saved in your own browser so you can come back to them. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information. You can also ask me to restrict or stop using it, or to give you a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@elementswebdesign.com and I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
